At PeaPancake we recognise the need for a holistic approach to delivering a fully functional, usable and aesthetically pleasing website, intranet or web-app.
In the same way that we might cook up a feast for an evening meal, we see the best results come from a combination of experience, method and the very best ingredients. As such, we have devised a simple, yet comprehensive, approach to meeting our clients' business needs as well as meeting all their customers' expectations.
Firstly, we get under your business' skin, delve into where you have been and where you want to go. We understand that your requirements in the aim for your business moving forward are key, and we want to help your vision become a "virtual" reality.
During a series of workshops we take our client's requirements (what they have and what they want); we mix them together using a requirements sieve, separating the wheat from the chaff. Taking the wheat, we then begin to put the requirements back together again in an order that best reflects our clients' needs.
We add a pinch of PeaPancake's special ingredient: listening to our client's thoughts, ideas and concerns, we work with them to present a variety of solutions that can meet their business requirements and budgetary restraints while never veering away from the importance of a user-centric approach. This is where the sparks sometimes fly and Eureka moments are commonplace.
Once the client is happy with our direction, we fire-up a couple of Apple Macs and a few PCs to about 3.0 Ghz.
Throughout the structured information architecture, design and development process the end-user is never far from our minds. We identify targeted user personas in the initial workshops and have them sit on our shoulders, acting as our benchmark monitors and keeping vigil for any hair-brained, off-piste ideas that do not contribute to our clients' business requirements.
After an iterative sign-off process, we handover the final deliverables whether at IA, design, template stages or post-launch. At PeaPancake, we believe in tailored, comprehensive and practical documentation for use during and after a project, not purely for the sake of it.
