Absolute Belize is a boutique travel agency that is based in Belize and helps to tailor make people's holidays.

Absolute Belize came to me in 2011 when they wanted to start their company. I create their brand, logo and illustrations. They wanted it to have a rough and ready feeling but still feeling boutique... much like Belize. So I created hand-drawn illustrations and paired it with amazing images of Belize. At the time, I also designed their website.

Then in 2021, Absolute Belize got in touch with me again and asked that I redesign their website to be more modern and responsive but still keep the same boutique hand-drawn feeling.

 

I pulled together some wireframes and went through their content, working out a better navigation solution. They have a lot of content on their site bu the previous website did not show that off very well and thee were too many pages to get to each property. I decided that creating a mega menu would be the easiest way of showing off  the breadth of content and properties that they had as well as making it easier for user to navigate. 

 

Once they were happy with the wireframes, then I pulled in the beautiful imagery and my original hand-drawn illustrations. We ended up with a great result which is fully responsive and has been handed off for development. 

 

The new site will be launched in 2022. Stay tuned!
